Adaptive Coach (“the App”) is provided by Safalfa Advisors FZ-LLC (“we”, “us”). We built Adaptive Coach to respect your training and your privacy. The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
What we collect
Nothing. The App has no account, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, usage data, or any device identifiers, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics services.
This is worth stating plainly, because it is unusual: the App makes no network requests to any server of ours. Your training plan, your logged sets, and every decision the App makes are computed on the device itself. We operate no backend for your information to be sent to, which is an architectural fact rather than a promise about how we behave.
Data stored on your device
Everything you tell the App is saved on your device. That includes the places you train and the equipment at each, your goals, your workout history and logged sets, and anything you report about an injury or how you are feeling. It is not accessible to us. Beyond the device it goes only to your own Apple Account, as described below.
iCloud
Your data is tied to your Apple Account and kept in your own private iCloud storage, so it follows you across your devices and is included in your iCloud backup. It sits under your Apple Account and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We have no access to it: we cannot read it, export it, or recover it for you. You can turn iCloud off for the App in iOS Settings, under your Apple Account → iCloud; new data then stays on the device only, and anything already held in iCloud remains under your Apple Account until you delete it there.
Health information
Some of what you enter, such as an injury you are working around, is health-related. It is treated the same as everything else: held the same way as everything else -- on your device and in your own Apple Account, used solely to adapt your training, and never transmitted to us. The App does not read from or write to Apple Health.
Purchases
The App does not currently offer any in-app purchase or subscription. If that changes, purchases would be processed entirely by Apple through the App Store, we would never receive or store your payment details, and Apple’s handling of your purchase would be governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We would receive only aggregated, anonymous sales information from Apple, never information that identifies you.
No data sharing
Because we collect no personal data, we have nothing to sell, share, or disclose to third parties.
Children
The App is not directed to children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the updated version at https://safalfa.com/adaptivecoach/privacy with a new effective date.
