Terms of Use for My Ashtanga

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the My Ashtanga app (“the App”), provided by Safalfa Advisors FZ-LLC (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The App

My Ashtanga is a guided Ashtanga yoga self-practice app. Sun Salutations and the Standing sequence are available for free. The rest of the Primary Series and the Custom Practice builder require a subscription or the one-time Lifetime purchase.

2. Health & safety disclaimer

Yoga carries risk of physical injury. The App is for general informational and educational purposes only and is not medical advice. Consult a qualified physician before beginning this or any exercise program, especially if you are pregnant, injured, or have a medical condition. Ashtanga’s Intermediate and Advanced postures in particular are demanding and are traditionally learned under a qualified teacher. You practice at your own risk, listen to your body, and stop if you feel pain. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the App.

3. Purchases, subscriptions, and free trial

Free trial: New subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription.
Auto-renewing subscriptions: Monthly and Annual subscriptions are auto-renewable. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Lifetime: The Lifetime option is a single, one-time purchase that unlocks the paid content permanently, including future series as they are added.
All paid options unlock the same content: the full Primary Series, Custom Practice, and every future series at no additional cost.
Managing and cancelling: You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

4. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policies; we cannot issue refunds directly. Requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Intellectual property

The App and its content, including audio, illustrations, text, and sequences, are owned by Safalfa Advisors FZ-LLC or its licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the App or its content.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Safalfa Advisors FZ-LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at https://safalfa.com/myashtanga/terms with a revised effective date.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates.
