Getting into Halasana
From Sarvangasana, lower your straight legs down behind your head until your toes touch the floor. Keep your legs straight and your hands can stay supporting your back, or interlace on the floor behind you for a deeper release.
What a teacher would tell you
- Toes to the floor.
- Hips over shoulders.
- Chin away from the chest.
These are the corrections My Ashtanga speaks aloud while you hold the posture.
