Getting into Janu Sirsasana A
From Dandasana, bend your right knee and place the sole of your right foot against your left inner thigh, knee resting toward the floor. Square your hips toward your straight left leg, then fold forward over it, catching your left foot with both hands.
Described on the right side. On the left, swap right for left throughout.
What a teacher would tell you
- Gaze in the direction of the big toe.
- The heart moving forward.
- Shoulders moving back.
