Getting into Marichyasana A
Sitting in Dandasana, bend your right knee and place your right foot flat on the floor close to your sit bone, shin roughly vertical. Wrap your right arm forward around the bent right shin, and your left arm around behind your back to meet and clasp your right hand behind you. Fold forward over your straight left leg.
Described on the right side. On the left, swap right for left throughout.
What a teacher would tell you
- Wrap the arm, bind.
- Fold forward.
- Gaze toward the foot.
