Getting into Balasana
Come down from the headstand and sit back onto your heels, resting your forehead on the floor with your arms alongside your body or stretched forward. Let your hips sink and stay here until your head clears and your blood pressure settles before moving on.
What a teacher would tell you
- Let the hips sink toward the heels.
- Forehead resting on the floor.
- Stay until the head clears.
These are the corrections My Ashtanga speaks aloud while you hold the posture.
