Getting into Ardha Sirsasana
From your headstand, keep your legs straight and together and exhale as you lower them until they are parallel to the floor, at about ninety degrees to your torso. Keep lifting strongly through your shoulders so you don't sink into your neck, and hold your lower belly firm, this is the traditional exit from Sirsasana, not a rest.
What a teacher would tell you
- Legs straight and together.
- Keep lifting through the shoulders.
- Lower belly strong.
These are the corrections My Ashtanga speaks aloud while you hold the posture.
