Getting into Virabhadrasana B
From Warrior One, open your hips and torso to face the long edge of your mat, lowering your back left heel flat if it isn't already. Keep your right knee bent at a right angle over the ankle, and extend both arms out at shoulder height, front arm over the bent knee, back arm behind you, gazing out over your front fingertips.
Described on the right side. On the left, swap right for left throughout.
What a teacher would tell you
- Front knee over the ankle.
- Back arm reaching strongly.
- Gaze over the front fingertips.
These are the corrections My Ashtanga speaks aloud while you hold the posture.
