Getting into Padahastasana
From Padangusthasana, slide your hands underneath your feet, palms up, so your toes rest in your palms with your feet pressing down on top of your hands. Fold forward deeper, keeping your legs straight and drawing your torso toward your thighs.
What a teacher would tell you
- Press the toes into the palms.
- Fold deeper on each exhale.
- Straight legs, crown of the head down.
These are the corrections My Ashtanga speaks aloud while you hold the posture.
