Getting into Supta Padangusthasana B
From the leg extended upward, keeping hold of your right toe, open the right leg out to the side, lowering it toward the floor while keeping your hips and left leg grounded and stable, and turn your head to gaze away over the left shoulder. To finish, inhale the right leg back to center and exhale it down to meet the left leg.
Described on the right side. On the left, swap right for left throughout.
What a teacher would tell you
- Keep both hips grounded.
- Shoulder stays on the floor.
- Open only as far as the hips allow.
