Getting into Uttana Padasana

From Matsyasana, lift your straight legs up off the floor to about a 45-degree angle, and lift your arms to hover straight out in front of you as well, balancing on your lower back and the crown of your head.

What a teacher would tell you

  • Legs straight and strong.
  • Lift the chest.
  • Arms along the body.

These are the corrections My Ashtanga speaks aloud while you hold the posture.
